BREATHING - BASICS & SIMPLICITY OF BANDHA 1
Yoga · 17. April 2024
Truth is - dont know where to start this Blog anew... So what is the first thing in my Retreats or teachings? Its to fix the breath. To teach the basic way of breathing, according the Sri T. Krishnamacharya tradition. How to transmit this to experienced yogis- it might be annoying, when you practiced so many years - and have to realize a simple thing - Inhalation happens in the chest- exhalation happens from the lower belly. Its the first thing to fix and observe in everydays practice.

Yoga · 29. May 2023
"Ashtanga meets Raga" is our beautiful project, which evolved out of our personal morning practice. It was also the longing over years -to have music for yoga which has no rhythm, so that the breath would not be disturbed! Lateron, through the inspiration of Anthony Grimmly - we were so happy to find pictures of this wonderful practice - already from the 14th century!

The moment of the sunrise - is said to be a KUMBHAKA - a small gap where you are able to receive the subtle energy of the universal breath. Most of the spiritual ways honor this precious moment of stillness - the sunrise and sunset. Alike we may experience deep union with the divine - when we practice Kumbhaka in our yoga or Pranayama practice. How to experience this outspicious energy, the moment of Kumbhaka in yourself!
